Nidia Garcia, ARNP

Nidia Garcia, Pain Relief Centers of Sarasota

I was born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami, Fla.  Nursing has always represented to me the very core of love, compassion and caring.  Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a nurse practitioner, as I saw how I could provide care, education and support to help patients improve their health and quality of life.  It is my belief that three important elements must exist in order to successfully provide an optimum environment for healing and maintaining health:  caring, compassion and collaboration. I refer to these elements as the Three C’s of Patient Care. Everyday at work, I look forward to having the opportunity to implement my Three C’s philosophy at Pain Relief Centers and treating, educating, and seeking resources and solutions for acute and chronic pain.

I began my tenure working as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at Hospice Care of Southeast Florida. I continued my education as a registered nurse (RN) working in the Critical Care unit at Mount Sinai Hospital while completing my advanced registered nurse education. I graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla., with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2014.  I am married to my soulmate and enjoy exercising, boating and spending time with friends and family.
