Dr. Ashish Udeshi is a lifetime Floridian who was born in Titusville, Fla., and grew up in South Florida. Dr. Udeshi received a Bachelor of Science with honors at the University of Miami in 2004. Upon graduation, Dr. Udeshi attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, graduating in 2008. He completed residency in the Department of Anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He went on to complete a fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in interventional pain medicine and was chosen as chief fellow. Dr. Udeshi is also a voluntary assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
During his education and training, Dr. Udeshi was recognized as the "Emmanuel Papper Medical Student Award in Anesthesia 2008." He received awards for “Outstanding Anesthesia Resident in Pain Medicine," “Outstanding Fellow in Pain Medicine," and "American Pain Society Foundation Scholar."
Dr. Udeshi has devoted his time to various local, state and international organizations. He has worked with Project Medishare and Doctor’s Goodwill Foundation, and he has traveled to India, Tibet, Haiti, and Nicaragua, providing medical care with other community physicians.
He has presented at numerous national conferences and is a published author in topics of anesthesia and pain medicine. Dr. Udeshi has been affiliated with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Pain Society, North American Neuromodulation Society and Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Udeshi is extremely thrilled to be back in Brevard County and to be a part of the Florida Pain Institute family. He is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
