I am Ashley Rowland and I am a Nurse Practitioner at Sarasota Pain Centers. I was born and raised in a small town in Kentucky. I studied nursing in college and started working as a Registered Nurse in 2007 on an orthopedic, post-operative unit for 6 years. I then transferred into the Operating Room as a circulating nurse in an outpatient setting, specializing in orthopedics and GI for another 5 years. I graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in 2017 and initially started out in Family Medicine for 1.5 and then transitioned to Pain Management in 2019 as I felt that pain management has always been part of what I understood with my professional background. I started here at Sarasota Pain Centers in October of 2021 at the Lakewood Ranch office.

I am married and have 2 amazing children who keep me very busy outside of work with sports. We are a very active family who enjoy sports and fitness. We spend extra time on nature adventures with a sweet dog who joins us, amusement parks, kayaking or anything else that keeps us moving. We moved to Florida mid 2020 so we could have outdoor adventures at our doorstep and we have not looked back.
