Genesis is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) – specializing in Acute Care and Adult Gerontology since August of 2018.

She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of South Florida in 2009, Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of South Florida in 2018.

Genesis has worked as a nursing professor at South Eastern University and has taught multiple courses in their BSN program. She has worked at Lakeland Regional Health on a cardiovascular-thoracic surgery step down unit, recovering open heart surgery and stroke patients. She has been working in pain management since 2019.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, and spending quality time with her family.

Genesis is bilingual in English and Spanish. She strives to provide excellent patient care and be a patient
advocate.
