Melissa Freakley, a Georgia native, is board certified as a family nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Masters in Nursing from South University in Savannah, GA. She has a total of 10 combined years as an RN and ARNP having worked in Emergency medicine, Orthopedics , school nursing, and three years in pain management. She also has a Bachelors of Health Science from Georgia Southern University in Community Health Education/Public Health where she was also a Division 1 soccer player. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Melissa relocated in December 2018 from Georgia with her family. Her husband is a mental performance coach for the Toronto Blue Jays in Major League Baseball and they have 2 sons, Ben and Connor. In her other life, Melissa wants to be a home designer like Joanna Gaines.
